Ifyoureallywanttomakeadifference-makeitwithusTheDigitalIndustryDivisionoffersacomprehensiveportfolioofseamlesslyintegratedhardware,softwareandtechnology-basedservicesinordertosupportmanufacturingcompaniesworldwideinenhancingtheflexibilityandefficiencyoftheirmanufacturingprocessesandreducingthetimetomarketoftheirproducts-beittheautomotiveoraerospaceindustry,firmwareengineeringorotherinterestingsectors.Yourmissioninnewrole:WorkingnowinourAgileteamtodefine,createandsharpenthefirmwareofSiemens’worldleadingprogrammablelogiccontroller(PLC)products,youwillcarryoutthecorecontrollersoftheindustrialmicro-automationsystembythedawnoftheIndustrial4.0era.Yournewrole-Challengingandfutureoriented1.YouwillfocusontheFWdesignandimplementationforPLCproducts.2.Youwillbeateamplayerinacrossfunctional(productmanagement,HWdevandmanufacture)andcrosscontinental(China,Germany,andUSA)team.3.YouwillneedtoactivelycontributetothewholeProductLifeCycleManagementprocessincludingphasesofplanning,developing,massivemanufactureandmaintenance.4.Youwillneedtosmartlyconvertyourexpertiseinsoftwareengineering,Agilepractice,DevOpssolutions,andProductSecurity,intothecustomervaluesofSiemensproducts.5.Youwillneedtoconsistentlyimproveyouroutputs,andensureanontimedeliverywithhighqualityevenunderthepressureoflimitedscheduleandcost.YourQualifications-solidandappropriate1.Bachelor’sDegreeinEngineeringorScience.2.5+yearsofFWdevelopment.5+yearsinC/C++.3.SubstantialknowledgeandexperiencesinembeddedsoftwareincludingLinux,SSL/TCP/IP,anddriver.4.Experienceonindustrialcommunicationprotocols(e.g.PROFINET,MODBUSandS7)isaplus.5.Experienceonindustrialautomationsystem(e.g.motioncontrol,PIDcontrolandexpansionmodules)isabigplus.6.experienceinembeddedsoftwaredevelopmentonmicrocontrollersforreal-timeapplications,systemanalysis,architectureanddesign7.Knowledgeofinnovativesoftwaredevelopmentmethods(CleanCode,TestDrivenDevelopment,UnitTests)supervisetypetestingandtransfertheproductsintoproduction8.ExperienceofPC-baseddevelopmenttool
